H-D Road King Classic Tour Pack

This is a picture of my bike, just after I'd added my removable H-D Road King Classic Tour Pack. It's actually a hard molded trunk, covered in leather. It has quick release mechanisms on the buckles, making access very fast and simple. The H-D buckles originally had the H-D logo cast in.. I used a dremel tool to remove the logo, and filled the cavity with black epoxy.

The trunk also had large H-D logos on the sides. These were removed and replaced with Mustang concho's. The conchos fit the original locations nicely, and they look right at home (and match the Mustang conchos found elsewhere on my bike).

I purchased and utilized most of the original H-D quick release hardware and docking station, and built the rest of the needed parts myself. The trunk can be easily removed without tools in about 10 seconds. With lots of additional space provided by the new trunk, it's hard to ride without it now :-) . The trunk also has an integral built-in passenger backrest.
